Who we are

Üsvalo Limited, company number 17181744, registered office 5 Greet Park Close, Southwell, Nottinghamshire NG25 0EE, is the data controller for usvalo.com. Contact hello@usvalo.com for anything to do with your personal data.

What we collect and why

When you order: your name, email address, delivery address, telephone number if you give one, and your order details. We use these to fulfil your order, keep you informed about it, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Our lawful basis is the contract with you.

When you join the email list: your email address. We use it to tell you when Sarastus ships and, if you have agreed, to send occasional news from Üsvalo. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to hello@usvalo.com.

When you visit the site: Shopify collects the technical data needed to run the store, and if you consent to marketing cookies we use the Meta pixel to measure whether our advertising works and to reach people who have visited the site. You can change your cookie choices at any time through the cookie banner.

Payment

Card payments are handled by Shopify Payments and the other providers shown at checkout. We do not see or store your full card details.

Who we share it with

Shopify, which hosts the store; our payment providers; the delivery company that carries your parcel; our email platform; and Meta, for the pixel, where you have consented. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order records for six years, to meet HMRC requirements. Email list data until you unsubscribe. Pixel data according to Meta's retention periods.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable form. Write to hello@usvalo.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy here, with the date they take effect. This version: 2 September 2026.
